Arts Award Adviser for Discover & Explore
Arts Award supports children and young people to enjoy the arts, develop creative and leadership skills and achieve a national qualification. Through Arts Award children develop creative and critical skills, set themselves challenges, explore the arts, share their achievements and can gain accreditation.
Arts Award Discover: 7 - 9 year olds (designed for early key stage 2)
This introductory award encourages children and young people to take part in different art activities, find out about artists and their work and share discoveries with others.
Arts Award Explore: 9 - 11 year olds (designed for higher key stage 2)
Entry Level 3 QCF Qualification
This single unit qualification encourages children and young people to take part in different arts activities and record what inspires them, to experience the work of artists and arts organisations, to create art work and to present their exploration to others.
